Maths:
Make your own clock using a paper plate or by cutting a circle out of cardboard. Use a real clock to help you to write the numbers correctly and make your own clock hands. You could set the clock to different times to help you know when it is time for something, e.g. if you want to know when bedtime is.
Talk about the times throughout the day you do things e.g. wake up, go to school, lunch time, dinner time.
Literacy:
Listen to the story Dear Dinosaur again (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgpsfBZ4nsQ)
In the story Max writes to the T-Rex. Which dinosaur would you write to? What questions would you ask him, or what information about yourself could you tell him? This could include:
1. I have had a birthday, I am now 5 years old.
2. Do you wish you were still alive today?
Dinosaur Dora suggests writing a letter. Writing is a way of communicating with people when you cannot see them. Can you think of other ways to communicate with people (phone, text, video call), and how else did Max communicate with the T-Rex in the story (email, card, postcard)?
Can you write a postcard to Max or a dinosaur of your choice?
