Sports Day 2021

We raised money for Red Nose Day by taking part in Wacky Races!

Lydden's book day . Which characters can you recognise ?

Fun in the snow February 2021......

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Bonnie and Zebedee , two working guide dogs. They came into school with their owners and Anne from The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. The children learnt all about the life of a guide dog and heard first hand what's it like to live without your sight.

As the school generated the idea to place a memorial in our village as part of our 'Recognise and Remember' learning, it was lovely to see staff , children and their families at the Dedication of the Lydden Memorial on Sunday 11th November 2018. Children laid a wreath on behalf of the school , which includes a poem of Remembrance written by our Year 5 children. We are grateful that we now have a poignant and permanent way to recognise and remember people from our village.
