Term 2 Year 5/6 Dover and Deal Sports Partnership Virtual Sportshall Athletics
At the end of term 2 all of the children in year 5 and 6 completed in our 1st ever virtual sports event. The children completed in Speed Bounce, Chest Push, Standing Long Jump, 100 metre shuttle run and Vertical Jump. All of the scores were recorded onto an excel document which then ranked the children. The top 5 girls and top 5 boys then made up team A, the next 5 girls and 5 boys made team B and so on.
I am pleased to say that all of our effort helped Dover and Deal to finish 4th in the county rankings with River finishing in 1st place for the Dover and Deal competition!
